upper westside bathroom
This windowless bathroom required close consideration of
the walls’ texture and color. In addition to new fixtures (toilet,
tub, and sinks), finish accessorized the bathroom
with three new wall sconces, on dimmers, for even and varied
illumination. The walls were treated with multitoned plaster
in shades of soft greens and peach to imitate the full spectrum
of daylight. Chrome surfaces and a collection of mirrors help
reflect the color throughout the room.
The warm hue of travertine on the vanity and the cabinet fronts,
finished with an antiqued ‘rub-down’ application, lends coherence
and a feeling of comfort to this interior space.
