The owners of this pre-War apartment wanted their new kitchen
to complement their collection of Danish Modern furniture. The
kitchen is located off the foyer, meaning that the design extends
into the other living spaces.
With new appliances, the kitchen employs white lacquer cabinets
with a custom walnut credenza below. Vermont soapstone was used
for the countertop, and porcelain Daltile with grey grout plays
off the vintage white milk-glass shelves. A new window and flooring
(along with required upgrades to the plumbing, gas, and electrical
lines) complete the new look. |
